Trial operation of IRZ permanent downhole gauge in Kazakhstan as part of a PCP system started in July 2017.  The gauge rated to 150 °C is equipped with a single-core downhole cable and is used to monitor real-time downhole parameters, such as fluid temperature, annulus & tubing pressure, and XYZ vibrations. The surface read-out unit of the system is installed inside the IRZ-400 variable frequency drive. By this moment, the gauge system has been operating over two years featuring stable and accurate performance.
