With the assistance of its Egypt partner Discovery Oil Services, IRZ started field trials of downhole monitoring system in Petrobel oil producing company. The system measures intake temperature and pressure, pump discharge pressure, motor oil temperature, vibrations, and insulation resistance with high accuracy and resolution. The downhole sensor features dual backup design, stainless housing, and surface board with built-in protection against overvoltage.
