From November 12 to 15 IRZ will take part in Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference. ADIPEC is one of the largest international exhibitions in the field of oil and gas where IRZ will present to foreign customers new electronic equipment for oil production including linear permanent magnet submersible motor, downhole sensor with backup electronics, and variable frequency drive for SRP and ESP systems.
Being a key element of a production system linear permanent magnet motor is an innovative solution for wells with a flow rate up to 30 m3/day and depth up to 3,000 meters. This system is an economically viable, power efficient, and environmental-friendly alternative to the SRP systems. Linear PM motor can also replace ESP systems in diminishing wells without any changes to existing infrastructure. The system can be effectively used in wells with any curvature including inclined wells, it does not require specific equipment for wellhead, it has low power consumption and lifetime up to 10 years.
Another new product of IRZ is the ESP downhole monitoring system with the backup of sensor electronics which is an exclusive development based on the experience of IRZ in space projects. The reliability of the downhole sensor is ensured by two autonomous sets of electronics inside the unit. The master set is in operation and the slave set is in standby mode. In case of a failure in the master set, the system is switched to the slave set in manual or automatic mode upon the command from surface panel, and this enables to extend the service life of the system. The system is designed for electrical submersible pumps equipped with induction or permanent magnet electric motors and it can be used with the drives of any vendors in the wells of up to 6,000 meters depth and up to 600 atm pressure at the temperature of up to +150 °C.
